This year, Easter comes early to us. April brings warmth and changes we see and feel on a daily basis... and rain... it brings a lot of rain. Haha. But, for this months prayer I can’t help but take time thanking Him for the price He paid so many years ago, that still changes lives, today. I guess the appreciation of it all comes with age, and that appreciation and thankfulness just tends to grow each year. I don’t think we could ever thank Him enough, but I know He loves it when we try.
Dear Father,
Thank you for sending your son, Jesus. I cannot imagine the pain or the hurt you felt watching Him die for my sins. You could’ve sent 10,000 angels to save him, but you didn’t. Thank you for your great love. Thank you that we are redeemed. We praise you, Jesus for showing us that in you, we are a new creation. You give us life. You give us hope. You give us exactly what we need in your timing. While we were sinners, you died for us. Thank you. May we go throughout this month remembering the price you paid was real. Help us reflect your love in our words and everything we do. Amen.
